Successful Thesis Submission

Digital: Print Services can access files on the Western repository or you can provide a PDF of your approved thesis. If you want selected pages printed in colour, provide pdf page numbers not inside page numbers.

Hardcopy: You can submit your thesis to Print Services Copy Centre located in Art and Humanities Building, Room 1R43, open 8:30-4:30 Monday to Friday.

PERSONAL COPIES

Personal copies are bound with different colour binding (see binding colour samples) with Full embossing foil lettering in Gold (standard), White or Black.

Thesis Hardcover Binding ...................................................................................................... $45.00

Front: Cover: full title, “by”, Author full name and existing degrees and year. Will add “Western University.
Spine: Author Full name, Abbreviated Degree of current thesis, Year
Content Printing:
- Black & White: (entire thesis) $0.13 each page (Plain Copy Paper 20lb)
- Colour Printing: selected colour pages $0.69 each page; rest black & white $0.18 each page.

DEPARTMENT COPY

MSc. And PhD Students who submit to the electronic thesis database DO NOT need to make Official copies, however, they still may be required to produce 1 Dept. copy. Check with your Department. Your Department pays for the binding but not the content printing. You will have to get a Speedcode from your Department to pay for binding.

Payment: You can pay using credit card or speedcode (only with authorized permission). Completion of thesis takes four to six weeks.

Method of Delivery:

Pickup at Print Services (will send you a Pickup Notification, you may designate anyone to pick up)
Free campus delivery (provide Building and Room #)
Courier – provide full mailing address.
